Free Legal Clinic for Youth who have a Record
Saturday, May 5 from 12 noon – 4 pm at Hartford Public Library, Main St Branch
If you:
• live in public housing in Hartford or used to live in public housing (including Section 8) in Hartford and your family still lives there, and
• have a juvenile or adult criminal record, and
• are 24 or younger
Free legal help to:
• get your record erased or find out if you are eligible
• apply for SNAP, cash, or medical benefits
• stay in school or get back into school
• get your documents: ID, birth certificate, license
If you want to apply for benefits, bring these documents if you have them (if not, please come anyway): copies of your bills, your most recent paystub, your birth certificate, copy of your lease, proof of student status (if you are a student).

• obtener tu registro criminal borrado o averiguar si eres elegible
• solicitar beneficios como SNAP, efectivo o beneficios médicos
• permanecer en la escuela o regresar a la escuela
• obtener sus documentos: identificación, certificado de nacimiento, licencia
Si desea solicitar beneficios, debes traer estos documentos si los tienes (por favor, ven, incluso si no los tienes): recibo de sueldo más reciente, copias de sus cuentas, certificado de nacimiento, copia de su contrato de arrendamiento, prueba de la condición del estudiante (si un estudiante).
