Free Legal Clinic for Youth who have a Record

Hartford Public Library, Main St Branch
If you are 24 or younger and
• live in public housing in Hartford or used to live in public housing (including Section 8) in Hartford and your family still lives there, and
• have a juvenile or adult criminal record
You can get free legal help to:
• get your record erased or find out if you are eligible
• stay in school or get back into school
• get your documents: ID, birth certificate, license
• apply for SNAP, cash, or medical benefits
If you want to apply for benefits, please bring these documents if you have them:
your most recent pay stub, copies of your bills, birth certificate, copy of your lease, proof of student status.
You can come to the clinic for free legal help even if you do not have these documents.
