Miranda was in DCF…
until the court said she could move back to her mother’s house. But Miranda’s mother got arrested and went to jail and Miranda was left to live with her older sister who always fought with her.
Her sister kicked her out and Miranda moved 5 times, living sometimes with family and sometimes with friends. She stayed in a shelter for a while, but left because she didn’t want them to call DCF. She doesn’t want to be in DCF care.
Miranda goes to school every day, except for the days when she is moving from one house to another and has to move all her stuff.
She is currently “couch surfing” with relatives and friends.
